Harbour Lights Scuba Diving started in 2000 when Gordon Harland, having passed his PADI Instructor course. Realised there was no club for people that had been trained by PADI. Gordon, a BSAC Assistant Club Instructor, decided to open his own club. The club has gone from strength to strength.
We started PADI (Professional Association Diving Instructors) and we are now a SSI (Scuba Schools International)

The club meets every Thursday night at Everybody Active in Park Road, Hemel Hempstead Herts, HP1 1JS. Pool nights are very important to us, as this is where we keep our skills up to date, people that have not dived for some time have the opportunity to come down to brush up on their skills before diving or taking on a diving holiday.
As a club we are also open to other qualified diver and anyone looking to become qualified who wish to dive with us!
HLSD have our own 6 metre RIB & 15 complete sets of scuba diving kit & equipment. We have a 10 metre hard boat on the island of Tenerife, also with scuba diving kit & equipment out there.
We are a club for divers from all recognised SCUBA Diving Organizations; BSAC, PADI, SSI, SSA etc.
